On this Sunday, August 3, join us for a “First Sunday” hike on the Ice Age Trail. Meet at the Chippewa Moraine Visitor Center at 1 PM and we’ll be off for a jaunt through the woods.
Bring water, your favorite mosquito repelling strategy, and a snack. A hat will help with deer flies as well.
In the interests of full disclosure, the bugs are pretty bad awful right now, so we’ll try to pick a route which has some promise of relief. On the other hand, the woods are deeply green and shaded, the ponds are sparkling, there are interesting things to see, and with repellant or other bug protection, it should be an interesting walk in the woods.
Won’t you join us?
