50th Anniversary Is Subject of Leader-Telegram Coverage

The Ice Age Trail and the Ice Age Park & Trail Foundation celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2008 with events and recognition across the state. An open house in Rice Lake kicked off a year of celebration in northwestern Wisconsin on January 28th. 

The anniversary was the subject of a feature article in the Sunday, Jan. 27, Leader-Telegram. In case you missed it, you can read it here.

Watch for upcoming anniversary events, including the Annual Conference at Campbellsport on April 16-20, and the fall Parade of Colors at the Chippewa
Moraine, October 3-5, which will feature our annual fall color hike as well as other events that will attract trail enthusiasts from around the state. In addition, National Trails Day, June 7, will be recognized as an anniversary event featuring a pie and ice cream social at several trail locations around the state.
